We term ourselves

Pioneering visual magicians and innovators who gave India's First 3D, 70mm and Theme Park.

Technological innovations by Navodaya range from Cinemascope to 70mm to 3D.

Navodaya in 1992 introduced Avid Digital Editing Suite & Protools Audio Suite for the first time in India.

Thus filmmaking in India migrated to the digital era even before Hollywood started deploying desktop systems for film post-production.

Navodaya has introduced many among today's leading talents in the film industry.

Stories from the Bible (1993) involved intensive research that spanned many continents. Along with the Research Scholars and Script writers, Art directors and Cinematographers were deputed  to the archaeological sites at Tel-Aviv, Negeb & Luxor and to the Museums & Universities in Jerusalem, Cairo & Geneva. This helped develop a process in Navodaya of story research for the visual treatment & development of a script.

The illusion works on the principle that if a camera is held stationary with respect to a rotating set, then people and objects - though conformed to the plumb and moving about naturally, would seem to defy gravity.

Navodaya, who had awed audience a generation ago with the zero-gravity song in Chotta Chetan 3D, is applying the same technique again here for Barroz 3D

Jan Huygen van Linschoten

was a merchant, trader, historian and … a Dutch spy in Goa!  He traveled extensively. Under Portuguese rule, Linschoten served as the archbishop's secretary in Goa between 1583 - 88.He published a book, Itinerario, which graphically displayed, for the first time, everyday life in Goa. It is through his detailed drawings we today understand Medieval Goa.

Portuguese heraldry, which encompasses the modern and historic traditions of the Portuguese Empire, is part of the larger Iberian tradition of heraldry. It grants coats of arms to individuals (usually members of the royal family or the nobility), cities, colonies and other institutions. The Portuguese Coat of Arms has five smaller coat of arms in the center, representing the 5 wounds of Jesus Christ. This is a symbol of gratitude for the divine victory during the battles. The round bottom shield has been the preferred shape to display the coat of arms in Portugal, causing this shape to often be referred to as the Portuguese shield.
